About Us
Jason Whitney and his wife Jessica have always been advocates for
helping those who need a helping hand.
For more than 100 years, Jason and Jessica's families have contributed
significantly to the development of Beaumont and Southeast Texas including
Tyrell Park, the Tyrell Historical Library, the Garth House, the Beaumont
Country Club, Lamar University, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Cathedral in
the Pines Church and Legacy High School. As native born-and-raised Southeast
Texans, Jason and Jessica Have committed to continuing the families' legacy of
giving back, not only to the community, but more importantly, to the growth of
future leaders for the entire region.
Jason Whitney is CEO of First Fidelity Reserve, a Beaumont-based precious metals
and rare coins sales firm. From its inception in 1986, the company continues to
be locally owned and operated. For the better part of its 22-year history, the
company has served a nationwide base of client collectors who have a love of
rare coins made of gold, silver and platinum. Since precious metals are also
widely regarded as an essential risk diversification tool in financial portfolio
planning, the company has expanded its services to also serve the needs pf
precious metals investors as well.
First Fidelity Reserve, its principals and employees support numerous
educational, civic and philanthropic endeavors within Beaumont and Southeast
Texas. "Beaumont has always been home," says Jason, "and there's not another
community in the world we'd rather be part of or give back to. It's exciting to
see the next generation of leaders blossom and come into their own, and know
we've been a small part of that."
The vision for the Future of America Scholarship is to support ten students each
year at Lamar University within the next five years through an endowment fund.
"The way I see it," says Jason, "the young people we support today are our
future partners in building a better world - both locally and globally."
